Montago Shop is a modern e-commerce platform designed specifically for the Egyptian fashion market. The platform supports multiple payment methods popular in Egypt and provides a seamless mobile shopping experience.
Case Study
The Challenge
The client needed an e-commerce platform that prioritized Arabic language and RTL layout while maintaining a modern, premium shopping experience comparable to international fashion stores.
Our Solution
We built a full-stack e-commerce application with Next.js for the frontend and Express.js with MongoDB for the backend. The platform features Arabic-first design, RTL layouts, guest and registered user cart syncing, coupon management, and integration with Egyptian payment methods.
Results
- Arabic-first shopping experience for Egyptian customers
- Full commerce flow: browse, cart, checkout, order tracking
- Bilingual (Arabic/English) with instant switching
- Mobile-optimised for mobile-first shoppers
“The Montago store was built quickly and professionally. Uploading products and managing orders is straightforward, and buying from a phone works well. Anything we raise is handled when we raise it.”

Technologies Used
Arabic first, not Arabic as well
Most bilingual stores are an English shop with an Arabic setting, and it shows in the first mirrored layout that breaks. Montago was written the other way round: Arabic is the language the interface was designed in, and English is the alternate.
That decision reaches further than text. It changes which side the cart lives on, which way a carousel advances, and what a product card looks like when it flips.
The storefront as it ships, and on the phone most Egyptian shopping happens on.
